Overview
Product Manager, Emergency Care Transport – UK&I at Stryker. This role develops marketing plans, positions products in the marketplace, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing and sales to deliver innovative medical devices for emergency care transport. Travel to the UK & Ireland is required, with regular head office visits in Newbury and occasional international travel.
What you will be doing
- Develop Commercialization / Annual Marketing Plans that demonstrate the opportunity size and tactics. Build a commercial Sales & Annual Marketing Plan with the Sales Leadership Team. Communicate plans with the sales team, regional marketing teams and division to ensure opportunities are understood and stakeholders are aligned to execution plans.
- Continually monitor market size, share and trends and recommend market opportunities and strategic focus areas, incorporating them into marketing strategy.
- Gain market insights through VOC with customers, KOLs and organizations. Translate insights into future business strategy and partner with the sales team to adjust marketing strategy based on healthcare developments or new VOC.
- Understand key competitors and their strengths/weaknesses.
- Understand customer groups and why customers buy the product or service approach for the product/portfolio.
- Understand different marketing channel strategies and their business implications.
- Track and report results/KPIs to leadership and sales.
- Understand competitive dynamics in the market and articulate why the product/portfolio adds value or solves customer problems.
- Create marketing strategies to develop and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product/portfolio.
- Align the business goals of the product/portfolio to Stryker’s overall goals.
- Apply clinical and technical knowledge to educate and articulate value.
- Work with sales training to set the sales training strategy for the product/portfolio.
- Provide analytical support to set price and articulate desired communications outcomes with the MarCom team.
- Establish short-range and long-range improvement goals for the product management team and develop action plans to achieve them under guidance.

What you will need
- 3+ years of marketing and/or medical device sales experience
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects to established timelines

- Ability to navigate complex interdivisional procedures and policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- A full, valid UK driver’s license
