What you will do:

  • Lead the team responsible for the product or portfolio strategy.
  • Guide others to deconstruct and extract the strategy from a well-written marketing plan.
  • Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors.
  • Share marketing intelligence and information with the team.
  • Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing.
  • Coach others on how to utilise the product or portfolio structure to maximise brand equity.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen.
  • Develop an effective KPI strategy for the business.
  • Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Lead a team of professionals: develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counselling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures.
  • Promote an environment that fosters personal growth and development.
  • Hold the team accountable to deliver high-quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities.
  • Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):

  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organisational authority.
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
