We are seeking a Sales Associate for our Sports Medicine Sales team covering Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire, and North Wales in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the target areas.
- Support Sales Representatives, providing customer education and training in the field.
- Pursue business opportunities to grow Stryker’s sales in targeted accounts while maintaining exemplary customer service and patient focus.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of key accounts, including stock issues, instrument requirements, loan kit organization, and product safety guidance.
- Assist other sales managers by handling existing account activities so they can focus on new business acquisition.
- Implement territory‑management skills and grow business in line with national sales objectives.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for nurses, theatre practitioners, and surgeons.
- Identify customer needs and promote Stryker’s products, applying basic selling, presenting and negotiation techniques.
- Coordinate product delivery through consignment or loan service and manage these channels.
- Provide timely customer support and build relationships with key personnel in hospitals.
- Maintain accurate customer records and basic business plans with daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.
- Advocate for appropriate medical care, upholding ethics and respect toward customers and colleagues.
- Collaborate with regional Sales staff and the Regional Business Manager to ensure top‑class customer service across the region.
- Conduct product trials and evaluations in theatre and clinical settings as required.
- Record observations and coordinate with sales colleagues to introduce new or additional Stryker products.
Qualifications
- BSc in Life Sciences, Business, or equivalent work experience.
