As an Engineering co-op in Stryker Belfast Operation Engineering team you will have the opportunity to work closely with Test Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers as well as other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Engineering leaders to deliver business objectives.
- Apply engineering principles focused on quality, service and cost.
- Gain technical insights on all product and process and experience within a fast paced and growing industry.
- Develop and implement appropriate supporting documentation, SOPs and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in New Product Introduction (NIP) Process in implementing new products and/or processes.
- Support process validation for products and processes; VP, IQ, OQ, PQ and associated documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, design and implement project plan, monitor and optimize results.
- Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and with external agents.
- Involve in digital plant implementation and drive for continuous improvement.
- Observe the Quality Management Systems and Environment Health and Safety requirements on site at all times.
Qualifications
- Currently working on completion of Bachelorβs degree in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation and written / verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Compensation
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
