Work Flexibility: Hybrid

The Associate Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting the process for service contract renewals and warranty expirations, additional coverage, and generating contract revenue. They will support the functions of inbound lead generation, lead nurturing, revenue generation, and contract administrative activities. The Associate Contract Specialist will work closely with other Contract Specialists and with local Marketing and Sales leaders to build and create ROI’s (data and presentations), proposals, and strategies for presentation. This is a newly created position working closely with the Senior Manager on strategic projects, analysing contract growth via Excel and Power BI, and developing as an expert for our field sales force to work on challenges in a goal-oriented manner. As a contract specialist, you will also be responsible for monitoring, managing and renewing our service contracts in the UK & Ireland region. You can expect a varied role with plenty of development potential. Thanks to our flexible working time model, you have the opportunity to work from your home office. However, a regular presence on site at our location in Newbury office should always be given in order to build sustainable relationships and maintain personal contact with colleagues and the specialist departments.

What you will do

  • You will work with sales colleagues within the UK & Ireland region to provide customers with a high-quality service.
  • You will take care of contract renewals and support the sales department in preparing offers for new contracts.
  • You will ensure that regulatory, compliance and pricing expectations are met in all interactions within the contract creation process.
  • You will develop and manage annual business plans to ensure successful contract renewal strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Technical Services and Finance.
  • Participate in key account meetings as required to provide expert knowledge of the products and services offered.
  • You will organize and conduct training sessions for new sales staff and team members on the content, pricing, benefits and innovations of Stryker service contracts.
  • You will work on projects and analyse together with the Senior Manager.
  • You are a super user for our NEXUS sales tool and take care of data maintenance in the backend.
  • You will also take part in regular European meetings to continuously develop yourself further.

What you need

  • You have commercial training or a business degree and ideally have professional experience in customer service, contract management, key account management or sales.
  • We require very good knowledge of Excel, CRM and ERP systems. At best, you already have initial expertise with Power BI.
  • A valid driver's license would be desirable, not essential should you need to provide on site customer service to our key accounts.
  • You have analytical and project management skills, are proactive, enjoy taking on responsibility and value an innovative, international working environment with high professional standards.
  • Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as your strong service mindset will enable you to interact in an international working environment of a very successful and fast-growing company.
