The Role: As a Sales Associate, you will work closely with an experienced Sales Representative to support the growth of Stryker's Endoscopy Visualisation portfolio within a defined territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that will see you regularly working in hospital and operating room environments. You will gain first-hand experience of medical sales while developing new skills, knowledge and confidence.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting Sales Representatives in managing and growing a defined sales territory
- Building strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and hospital staff
- Providing in-theatre product support and assisting with procedures
- Delivering product training and education to healthcare professionals
- Supporting product trials and evaluations in clinical settings
- Managing stock, loan kits and consignment inventory within hospitals
- Identifying new business opportunities and feeding insights back to the sales team
- Always acting with patient safety, ethics and customer service as top priorities
What we're looking for:
- A BSc degree in Biomedical/Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- An interest in medical devices, anatomy and physiology
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- A proactive, driven attitude with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in hospital and operating room environments
- Commercial awareness and a keen interest in selling and relationship-building
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Full, valid driving licence
- Previous sales experience is not essential.
