Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes education plan that is aligned with central European strategy in collaboration with all internal stakeholders including Brand managers and Sales leaders.
  • Follows up best-in-class learning trends and re-evaluates and continuously improves the learning experience.

Key Activities:

  • Team Management (Team of 8): Leading the team, aligning its efforts with organizational goals, and ensuring performance through planning, coordination, support and development.
  • Drives program development, continuously updating internal education programs such as internal courses, online educational platform tools, online courses, etc. and/or external education programs such as sawbones courses, cadaveric courses, online education, etc.
  • Develops new customer engagement programs and events supporting strategic goals and marketing objectives.
  • Develops and deploys digital tools to facilitate learning.
  • Ensures up-to-date sales training curriculum and material.
  • Develops, schedules and communicates a calendar of internal and external education events.
  • Documents and stores internal training participant list for audit purposes.
  • Partners with surgeon KOLs to ensure high quality faculty at internal and external education activities.
  • Audits selling capability and knowledge base of sales channels regardless of experience and tenure within the company, building a plan to close identified gaps.
  • Allocates and manages the education budget in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensures that educational activities across EMEA markets are coordinated and cohesive, helping to drive agreed goals and strategies.
  • May have responsibility for clinical research in collaboration with Brand Management.
  • 40% Business Travel.

Qualifications/Tenure:

  • Required: 8-10 years of Medical or Internal Education, with a significant portion within Med-tech/Pharma industry. BSc degree in Education, Human Resources or relevant field. Fluent English.
  • Preferred: 4 years in a People Management role, Certification in training.

Experience/Skills:

  • Proven experience in Training coordination/Clinical Education Manager role.
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques.
  • Understanding of sales process, preferably within relevant medical business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Travel Percentage: 40%
