Funds Data Team - Powering AI-Enabled Insights
Our Funds Data Product Team is foundational to Bloomberg's Enterprise Content business. We deliver best-in-class data offering that powers analytics, automation, and decision-making across global markets. Our datasets - spanning cash equities and listed equity derivatives - underpin a wide range of investment, risk, regulatory, and ESG workflows. This business is a critical pillar of our growth strategy in Enterprise Data. The Role - Lead the Future of Funds Data Innovation
We are seeking a visionary Team Leader to drive the evolution of Bloomberg's Funds Data business globally. This is a leadership position at the intersection of finance, data science, and AI innovation. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for our Data products - shaping the next generation of data solutions. You'll lead a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning. In this role, you will champion AI-driven transformation, Agentic AI approaches and be a partner to Clients in their AI and Cloud technology transformation.
We'll Trust You To:
- Lead innovation - inspire, mentor, and develop a team that leverages AI, analytics, and automation to re-imagine data products and workflows.
- Drive growth in the Data business by defining a forward-looking product strategy, prioritising high-impact initiatives, and executing with agility.
You'll Need To Have:
- 10+ years of experience in product management within financial data, analytics, or technology, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Deep understanding of global Funds markets with a deep understanding of Funds data landscape.
- Strong grasp of data science, MCP AI, and agentic automation concepts and how they transform financial data workflows.
- Proven track record of defining and executing innovative product strategies that deliver measurable business results.
- Excellent communication skills - able to articulate complex, technical concepts with clarity and influence across senior stakeholders.
- Ability to travel globally as needed to engage with teams, clients and industry partners.
We'd Love To See:
- Passion for AI innovation and the evolving landscape of agentic, intelligent data systems.
- Understanding of cross-asset data models and quantitative integration.
- Exposure to clients workflows across either Trading, Risk, regulation or sustainability.
- Experience with Python, R, or other data science and analytics programming languages.
