We have developed a suite of technology products through our Enact and Spark platforms, from real-time trading analytics through to interactive modelling tools across Europe. A key focus of our strategy is to deploy technology across all our existing offerings, to leverage in-house data and skills and maximise our impact on the energy transition.
This is an exciting role for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Power Trading software team, and to play a key role in our growth and continued evolution of our technology platforms. Working across a complex suite of products, you will combine hands‑on software development with software design and architecture, helping to shape scalable, maintainable solutions while delivering high‑quality production code. The incumbent will work across our C#/.NET codebase and wider technology stack, taking ownership of technical design whilst remaining actively involved in implementation throughout the software development lifecycle. Our platform is hosted within Microsoft Azure, uses Cosmos DB and PostgreSQL for data storage, and is complemented by a Vue.js and TypeScript front end. Modern AI‑assisted software development and agentic coding tools are used throughout our engineering workflows to support software design, development and productivity.

- Being a competent, active, engaged and willing member of our development team
