Are you passionate about shaping the future of compensation and rewards in the banking sector? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Reward Consultant to join our Rewards Solutions practice in the London office. As a Reward Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and executing annual compensation studies, relationship management while also identifying and driving consulting and advisory projects focused on the banking sector and clients. About the Role

  • Owning and developing client relationships in the Banking sector in the UK, including client servicing, identifying new opportunities and new clients onboarding.
  • Working in conjunction with the Aon team internationally to service global clients and International Banks with a presence in the UK.
  • Client advisory projects including competitive market positioning, trends, executive compensation benchmarks, incentive review/design, workforce planning, job architecture and job grading, market practice studies etc.
  • Market research and analysis.
  • Working on projects that develop and implement client reward strategies that link to business strategy.
  • Help manage Aon's Banking network for reward and HR heads, organising regular events (roundtables, webinars etc.) and sector-specific studies throughout the year.
  • Create and support the technical, statistical and graphical content of consulting projects, compensation studies and network presentations.
  • Project and process management.
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • A thorough understanding of compensation and the issues affecting reward structures.
  • Ability to master a specific area of expertise e.g. knowledge of banks / financial services.
  • Be a person that more junior staff can learn from and takes a proactive role in sharing experience and expertise.
  • Driven in client service, origination, and delivers results orientated solutions to often complex problems.
  • Able to develop business by understanding a client's requirements and tailoring approach.
  • Manages client relationships utilising resources where appropriate (junior staff, senior experts, technology).
  • Prioritising requests and managing client's expectations.
  • Degree qualified, preferably in a numerate discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven and accurate analytical skills including Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and a range of modelling techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong presentation skills, both verbal and written (advanced PowerPoint skills would be an advantage).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
  • Fluent in English.
