About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, or Solution Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Waterloo, London.
This role sits at the intersection of advanced machine learning and robust software engineering, focusing on deploying industrial-grade applications (such as fraud detection and predictive maintenance) across key sectors for an Enterprise AI client.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning algorithms and software solutions.
- Analyse, cleanse, and normalise complex time-series data and dynamical systems.
- Integrate ML models into production using cloud platforms and modern Java Script frameworks.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver robust data structures and algorithms.
- What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need a blend of the following engineering and data science capabilities:
- Core Development: Proficiency in Python, Java Script, and Java, alongside modern frameworks (React, Redux, Vue, or Angular).
- Data Science & ML: Solid understanding of common ML techniques, trade-offs, and scalable ML architecture (Map Reduce, streaming).
- Data Expertise: Experience with time-series data, dynamical systems, and both SQL and No SQL databases.
- Cloud & Dev
Ops: Proven experience deploying software to AWS, GCP, or Azure, utilizing Git for version control.
