The Stryker Associate Product Support Specialist responsibilities include supporting Stryker products associated with Joint Replacement procedures (including robotic surgery with MAKO).

This role within Stryker UK will focus on servicing and supporting our clinical customers to strive for best-in-class specialist support with procedural excellence.

Additional responsibilities include working with the local team to coordinate training and events and managing day to day requirements of administration, business support, and ensuring Stryker delivers exceptional levels of service.

Please note there is an expectation to work one weekend day per month, with a TOIL day given in the same week.

  • Key Activities & Accountabilities
  • Segmenting CT scans for MAKO PKA cases across the region.
  • Servicing existing and new customer base within the theatre and clinical environment.
  • Providing support for MAKO robotic procedures and manual joint replacement surgeries (once trained).
  • Supporting training for HCP staff.
  • Working closely with team members within the defined region, and the Regional Sales Manager, to ensure customer service levels are best in class.
  • Auditing Stryker stock (implants, disposables and instruments) and supporting good asset management practice.
  • Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker business to help offer customers the best possible solution.
  • Communicating the basic features and benefits of products and their clinical application.
  • Always demonstrating outstanding ethics.
  • Treating customers and other employees with respect and representing Stryker in the best possible light.
  • Behaving with integrity and delivering on commitments within required timescales.
  • Independently managing your time and proactively seeking learning opportunities.
  • Developing an understanding of the local healthcare environment and regional strategy.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by RSM (Regional Sales Manager).

Education/Experience

  • Theatre experience or training in a medical environment preferred.
  • Industry background advantageous but not required.
  • Biology/science/human anatomy knowledge is essential.
  • Computer skills – MS Office, Excel etc.
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media.
  • Workshop/product demonstration skills.

This role is within the West Midlands team, ideally in the West Midlands/Greater Birmingham area.

  • 31,800.00 - 42,350.00 - 52,900.00 GBP Annual

  • Travel Percentage: 80%
  • Work Flexibility
  • Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.
  • Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary.

Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

  • Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility.

Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements.

Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

  • Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.

Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (such as bonus and/or commissions where applicable), along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.
