Role Overview

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to become a key member of the Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Salisbury. The team manages Rural Estates and provides professional rural estate, farm, and property management, along with rural advice. Working closely with residential, farming, forestry, natural capital, and finance teams, the team’s technical excellence serves a prestigious client base, advising on high-profile projects. The role combines Estate Management and professional work.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal agent for key estate management clients, providing professional advice.
• Undertake estate and farming business reviews.
• Achieve key client deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with internal and client standards.
• Develop new business opportunities within the team.
• Introduce and deliver diversification projects.
• Assist with strategic land promotion, secured lending, and professional valuations.
• Manage and lead a high-performing team.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Monitor profitability and seek new business opportunities.

Key Skills

• MRICS qualified rural surveyor with project experience.
• Leadership potential and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with good time management.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent.
• MRICS qualification, preferably Rural pathway, with 3-5 years PQE.
• CAAV/SAAVA membership advantageous.
