Due to growth we are looking for Assembly and Machine Operatives for one of our clients based in Perry Barr in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company. This will be a temporary to possibly permanent role working full time Day shift hours:
- Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm
Duties Will Include:
- Working on a fast paced production line
- Following instructions specific to client needs and requirements
- Using hand tools and operating welding machinery
- Assembling parts and products
- Working knowledge of health and safety and good housekeeping
- Quality checking and inspecting orders
- Any other general factory duties
Experience And Skills Required For This Role Include:
- Previous experience of working in a factory or shop floor
- Minimum of 2 years experience in machine operating and assembly
- Be self-motivated and eager to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Attributes Needed For This Role:
- Be a strong team player who can work well under pressure
- Be able to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively
- Have a strong work ethic
- A good understanding of English both written and spoken
