Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our team in Wolverhampton. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods to depots, distribution centres, and customer sites across the UK. Both day and night shifts are available, with opportunities for regular and ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws
- Carry out trunking, depot-to-depot, or store delivery work
- Complete vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork and digital logs
- Maintain high standards of customer service at all delivery points
- Adhere to drivers' hours, tachograph, and working time regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
