Overview

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages/collars. This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service with competitive rates of pay from £11.44 per hour. The operation is open 7 days a week, and we can accommodate any days of work that suit you. You can choose to work part time or full time; let our friendly team know your availability on registration and we can take care of the rest to ensure this job fits in with your lifestyle.

Rate of Pay

  • Days shift – £12.21 increasing to £12.33 after 12 weeks worked – usually around 12:00pm start
  • Nights – £12.51 increasing to £13.21 after 12 weeks worked – usually 21:00pm start

Your Duties as a Warehouse Operative

  • Unloading parcels from a trailer
  • Placing parcels onto a conveyor belt
  • Scanning and sorting of parcels with handling/lifting of items of all sizes and weight
  • Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • Ensure scanning with the use of the handheld terminal is completed accurately
  • Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy
