£41,500 + Door to Door (1 in 4 call out) Leeds. Winner Recruitment is working with an outstanding family run service provider looking to grow their Mechanical team. They are seeking commercial gas engineers to perform a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across commercial & retail sites throughout the UK.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Perform a mixture of PPM & reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances such as boilers, pipework, valves and ventilation.
- Carry out maintenance on plumbing, including replacing taps and repairing leaks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas systems.
- Diagnose faults in gas appliances and carry out necessary repairs.
- Assemble components as needed for various projects.
- Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, exceeding customer expectations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete installations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Relevant qualifications such as COCN1, MET1, CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, UVHW.
- Commercial catering tickets are beneficial.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fault‑find issues effectively.
- Good general experience working in occupied premises.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- A customer‑focused approach.
- Door to Door paid at 1.5× before 7am & after 6pm.
