Overview

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within the company. The role will be conducting and carrying out electrical repairs and support on breakdowns. You will be offering essential maintenance to equipment and the facilities infrastructure with emphasis on the electrical elements. This position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Responsibilities

  • Providing both Reactive & Planned & Preventative Maintenance
  • Working on a variety of machinery including pneumatic and hydraulic machines
  • Ensuring all equipment & machines on site are safe and fit for purpose
  • Conducting electrical repairs to breakdown of any machinery or equipment
  • Fault Finding both Electrical & Mechanical
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and safety requirements

Knowledge & Competencies

  • Knowledge on Mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulic machines
  • Planned preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Leadership and man management skills
  • Competent problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail and decision making
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

Skills And Qualifications Required

  • 2-3 years Maintenance Experience – Electrical Biased
  • HND/ BTEC Qualification / Engineering Degree / Electrical Qualification
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 Wiring regulations
  • High level of Technical competency
  • Fault Finding ability both Electrical and Mechanical
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
