Van Driver / Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting for an experienced van driver for one of our prestigious clients based in Tamworth. A permanent role due to expansion. We are looking for experienced professional drivers who have a full clean driving licence to deliver products across the UK. This will not be a multi‑drop role. You will be based at Tamworth and only potentially deliver to 3‑5 clients per day. The role will include general warehouse duties also.
Job Description
- Delivering high value goods across the UK
- Loading and unloading vans / goods
- Moving and stacking any pallets in the warehouse
- General warehouse duties
- Working to targets and timescales on deliveries
- Working on the Goods In / Out Team
- Checking delivery notes and printing off paperwork
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times
Key Competencies
- UK full driving Licence is essential.
- FLT – Counterbalance Licence preferred
- Previous Van Delivery experience is essential
- Ability to read and understand paperwork supplied.
- Good Communication skills.
- Positive can‑do attitude
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
- Friday 7am – Midday (overtime may be required in peak)
Salary £24,761 - Equivalent Pay £12.21ph
