The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.
We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Assembly Operative for a large prestigious manufacturing company based in Tamworth. This is a Permanent role working day shift.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00am - 16:15pm & Friday 7:30am – 16:00pm.
Pay rate: £12.36 per hour. Flexible working hours needed (weekend & shift working may be required).
Key Responsibilities- Working on a fast paced production line.
- Assembling and inspecting various parts.
- Using hand and air powered tools.
- Using torque wrenches & measuring devices.
- Reading and following instructions from drawings & manufacturing specs.
- Identifying any scrap or rejects that do not adhere to standards and specifications.
- Suggesting recommendations to improve processes.
- Quality inspect and final visual inspection of all parts.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Assembly and manufacturing environment.
- Must have a keen eye for intricate details.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Heavy lifting involved; will stand most of the working day.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 27 days after completion of 5 years service.
