The Northern Premier League (NPL) is entering an exciting new phase – and we’re looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team as Player Registration & Compliance Officer.

As a key member of our Officer team, you’ll be at the heart of League operations, helping to power the day-to-day activity that keeps our clubs moving and matchdays running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll be the go-to expert on player registrations, ensuring full compliance with FA rules and helping clubs navigate key processes with confidence.
  • Your daily work will include:
  • Communicating with clubs and the FA, responding to registration queries, and processing matchday documentation

  • Compiling and distributing fixtures – ensuring clubs and fans get the info they need
  • Monitoring compliance with Stadium Accreditation and club licensing requirements
  • Overseeing important admin tasks such as Form D, League membership forms, and Financial Reporting Initiative returns

What We’re Looking For

  • We need someone who’s confident, professional, and ready to handle the pressures of non-league football. You’ll bring:
  • A strong working knowledge of League and FA rules (especially those related to player registrations)
  • Proven ability using FA digital systems – including iFAS
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills, plus confidence using Google Maps
  • A blend of empathy and authority – you’ll support club staff while upholding rules with consistency and fairness
  • Flexibility – this is not a 9-to-5 job. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary

Other Essentials

  • The role is home-based but will require travel to League meetings and events
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential

Please apply with your up to date C.V. & covering letter detailing your relevant experience & the attributes and qualities that you feel you can offer. (Closing date for the role is 11th June)
