About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Facilities Management team, supporting the smooth running and upkeep of a variety of commercial and residential sites. You\’ll be the go-to person for general repairs, basic maintenance, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites (e.g., basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor electrical works).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety regulations.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers when specialist works are required.
  • Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within a facilities management environment.
  • Good knowledge of basic building services, including plumbing, joinery, painting, and minor electrical repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
  • A valid UK driving licence (desirable, depending on site requirements).
  • Relevant trade qualifications (advantageous but not essential).
