About The Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician to join a facilities team responsible for keeping busy sites running smoothly. The role is a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs, covering a range of building services and general electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine EICR tests across domestic properties
  • Respond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks and electrical faults
  • Diagnose and repair issues on lighting, power, distribution boards, motors, and controls
  • Support with minor installation, upgrades and small works when required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
  • Keep clear and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs
  • Work with site teams, contractors and other engineers to maintain safe operation of the building

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • 18th Edition 2391 Test & inspection
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or building services environments
  • Good fault-finding skills across general electrical systems
  • Strong communication and the ability to manage your own workload
  • A proactive approach to safety and maintenance
