We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing network within our clients Depots across the country. Shifts are available on part time basis and as we are open 7 days, there is flexibility in the working week you choose.
If you want be part of a team that plays a vital part of the delivery process, then this is the role for you! Our client is responsible for the delivery of parcels to a nationwide network where you be delivering to Hubs, Depots and Delivery Units liaising with colleagues here to ensure a smooth delivery. A typical day in the life of a HGV Class 2 Driver will include up to 10 drops, efficient driving of the vehicle adhering to road safety standards and effectively completing paperwork. Support is always available as we know that things can arise daily when navigating British roads, the friendly transport team are always available to help you a navigate through any issues.
Shifts Details

  • Night shift (starting around 21:00)
  • Pay rate is from £14.38 increasing to £15.08 after 12 weeks
  • Speak to our team about part-year and irregular hours\' as we may be able to pay upfront holiday at 12.07% on top of the above pay rate

Essential skills and requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver:
  • We require you to have a full UK Driving Licence with a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
  • An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC Card)
  • In date Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points on your Driving Licence
Newly qualified drivers are welcome as well as those with experience and all drivers are expected to undertake a short driving assessment which includes a brief written test so basic English is required to complete this.
Communication with people across all levels is vital as you will be liaising with colleagues from all walks of life.
