We are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team, operating articulated vehicles in the Heathrow area.
Location: TW14 0AR
Shift Pattern
- 10:00 – 22:00
- £19.39/hr
- Friday to Tuesday (days off Wednesday & Thursday)
The Role
- Operating 40T articulated vehicles
- Driving short and long-distance runs
- Roller bed trailer experience (preferred but not essential)
- Working closely with the transport/operations team to plan delivery schedules and routes
- Supervising or assisting with loading/unloading goods
- Ensuring all loads are safely secured
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining up-to-date logbooks
- Following traffic reports and adjusting routes when necessary
- Carrying out basic routine vehicle maintenance
- Handling airport collections and deliveries
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- Valid C+E licence, CPC and Digi card
- Knowledge of roller bed trailers (desirable)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
