We have an exciting opportunity for a Stockroom Co-ordinator at our Blythe Bridge depot. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the stockroom, ensuring that samples, marketing literature, promotional materials and stock items are accurately stored, maintained and distributed. The role supports multiple departments across the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload and check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Organise and maintain a stockroom of products and sample materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or replenishment requirements.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer samples and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the distribution of product samples and marketing materials to branches, customers and events.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update internal systems as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal departments regarding deliveries and stock availability.
  • Ensure all stockroom housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles where required.
  • Support marketing activities through the preparation and fulfilment of campaign materials, sample packs and exhibition stock.
  • Ensure goods are handled safely and in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service to colleagues across the business.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working within a stockroom stores environment or warehouse.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling.
  • Previous experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift Truck licence (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Experience coordinating samples or marketing materials.
  • Experience working within the timber, building products or distribution industry.
