We currently have a great opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our BPX Southampton Branch (SO50 4NU). We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team. This is a full-time, permanent role where continuous training and development will be provided.

Job Purpose:
As our delivery driver/warehouse operative you will be responsible for local-drop deliveries to our customers. In addition, you may be required to support the warehouse team in assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing order picking.
The main duties will include:
- Delivering local-drop orders to our customers using our company van
- Ensuring the van is kept roadworthy by reporting any accidents or repairs
- Any other duties requested by the Manager.
- Delivering excellent customer service, following BPX standards
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results
- Picking, processing and preparing orders, ready for delivery
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
To join our team we are looking for a person who:
- Has experience of working in a warehouse and local-drop deliveries
- Has an outgoing, positive and professional attitude
- Has good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role
- Is able to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
- Is conscientious with good attention to detail
- Trustworthy and reliable at all times
- Full UK driving licence
