StructureCare (www.structurecare.com) are part of the Tremco CPG family which includes other well-known brands including Tremco, Flowcrete, Illbruck, Nullifire, Vandex, and Dryvit. StructureCare are CPG’s Specialist in-house Contractor who are focused on the Repair, Maintenance, and Protection of Buildings and Structures throughout the UK and are seeking to appoint a Project Manager for the North of the country.
This opportunity offers significant potential for growth working as part of a dynamic and driven team, working primarily with Tremco CPG systems, but also having access to the wider portfolio of RPM International businesses, products, systems, people, and support.
The Person - To be successful in the role we are looking for a person who:
- Has a passion for Project Management, as well as proven knowledge and a track record in the UK Construction Industry, and within our sector. Experience within Car Parks is desirable.
- Can demonstrate experience and competence in both Project Management and Construction Principles, having worked in a similar role.
- Is motivated to learn and develop your own skills and be prepared to play an integral role as part of a wider team to look for developmental growth and seek continual improvement throughout all aspects of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities – will include:
- Ensure timely and effective Communication and Planning of Projects to ensure that we are fully prepared in all areas, enabling us to deliver to our full potential.
- Ensure that Project Scopes, Specifications, and Quality Objectives are clear, understood, and communicated with the wider Project Management Team, Supervisors, and Site Operatives, with guidance, support, and instruction being given to ensure that works are delivered with a Right-First-Time mentality.
- Take Responsibility and Lead by Example. Promote good practice or new ideas to drive growth and improvement in people and ultimately the business.
- Lead and Manage our relationship with our client and any relevant stakeholders.
- Work with the Field Operations Manager and wider team to record and track project performance against Programme and Budget. Raise awareness when we foresee or encounter problems through Safety, Quality, Progress, Performance, etc. Work to prevent or resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, promote the need for good records, timely actions, and raising awareness where risks are faced. Ensuring that Record Keeping and Documentation is created and maintained in a clear, concise, and current manner.
- Work with the Technical & Quality Team to drive Quality and Inspections targeting zero defects.
- Work with the Quantity Surveying Team to ensure that Project Reporting is live and accurate, allowing us to track Performance against Budgets in real time.
- Work closely with the Safety Team to promote a strong safety culture. Drive Safety Reporting through Daily Reporting, Audits, and Initiatives.
- Ensure effective management of our own Teams and Subcontractors, ensuring that they meet the needs of the Project and our wider Business.
