With Ofwat’s AMP8 investment programme injecting £88 billion into the UK water sector, Structural Soils part of the RSK Group is poised to play a pivotal role in delivering geotechnical excellence across major infrastructure projects. We’re seeking Graduate Ground Engineers to join our expanding team delivering complex ground investigations, primarily within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
- Undertake ground investigations, interpret data, and deliver high-quality reports.
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
Person Specification:
- Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and client-facing skills.
- Our entry level roles require no previous experience in the industry as you will receive extensive training in all aspects of ground investigation projects to get your career off to the best start.
- You will learn the technical, commercial and management skills required to progress your career to the next level, whilst working in a friendly and professional environment.
- A desire to become a key member of the local and national team of engineers through demonstrating excellence in their work.
- Willingness to learn geotechnical soil and rock logging.
- Willingness to learn how to collate geotechnical data using the latest industry software and write reports for external clients within stringent internal protocols.
- Full Clean UK Manual driving licence essential.

- Commensurate on experience.
