Location: Glasgow, UK.
The Role: As part of this role you will be engaging with clients on different sites on a day-to-day basis. Carrying out geotechnical site testing including, but not limited to Plate Load testing, Insitu CBR testing, Nuclear density gauge testing and soakaway/percolation testing. The role will require travel mainly in the southern part of the UK, occasional national travel may be required along with staying away from home. Full training will be provided but experience is welcomed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate field equipment and perform testing or field sampling.
- Generate, manage and submit field notes to a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain testing and sampling equipment.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and members of the public on site.
Required experience & qualifications:
- Minimum Science GCSE.
- Desirable Science or Engineering degree, or relevant work experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Note: this can be a physical role and the candidate will be required to be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment.
Desirable training/experience (not essential):
- Office 365.
- Quality - BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017; ISO 90001.
- Health & Safety qualifications.
- Continuing professional development, e.g. attend workshops, seminars, and online and other types of courses.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Towing assessment training.
- CSCS.
Salary & Benefits:
- Β£26,500 per annum plus overtime.
