Core Responsibilities:
- Project management & coordination
- Client management & engagement
- Development of a UK wide client portfolio
- Leading the design, procurement, supervision and management of geo-environmental ground investigations
- Undertaking Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments
- Undertaking and Managing Phase 2 Geo-Environmental Investigations
- As a Site Supervisor / Site Manager, play a pivotal role in the delivery of ground investigations across the UK – ensuring technical compliance is adhered to by all staff on site
- Producing detailed technical reports within stringent internal protocols
- Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including geo-environmental laboratory scheduling
Person Specification:
- 5+ years industry experience within the UK Ground Investigation Sector
- BSc Degree level qualified in Geology, Earth Science, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Geoscience or a related environmental subject is essential
- MSc in a related subject is preferential, but not essential
- In-depth knowledge of current UK legislation relevant to all aspects of Geo-Environmental site investigation
- SiLC Registered – or able to demonstrate significant progression towards registration
- A desire to become a key member of the local and national team through demonstrating excellence in their work
- Full Clean UK Manual driving licence essential
- Right to Work in the UK: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
