Join Structural Soils as an Assistant Driller in Hemel Hempstead, UK. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team that focuses on quality and H&S.
We work all over the UK, ranging from inner-city to countryside locations. As an Assistant Driller, you will:
- Work outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
- Assist Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites all over the UK
- Undertake general labouring duties, such as erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, hand-dug inspection pits, and collection of samples
- Manual handling and moving heavy items, plus training in the use of some site equipment and plant
- Assist with tasks in the Warehouse
- Have opportunities to work on all of our rig types
About You
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Have a flexible approach to working with a focus on delivering results
- Be reliable and have good time-keeping skills
- Enjoy working as a team and have the ability to work individually on tasks
- Be able to carry out physically challenging tasks
- Be able to follow strict industry health and safety and environmental standards
- A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential
