The Vacancy Structural Soils part of the RSK Group have an exciting new opportunity! Due to the continued growth of our team, we have a vacancy for an Assistant Driller to join our team based in Castleford, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a supportive and experienced team that focuses on quality and H&S. We work all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations.

Responsibilities

  • Working outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
  • Assisting Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations
  • Undertaking general labouring duties e.g., erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, hand dug inspection pits and collection of samples
  • Manual handling and moving heavy items, plus training in the use of some site equipment and plant
  • Assisting with tasks in the Warehouse
  • Opportunities to work on all of our rig types

About You

  • Must have a full UK driving licence.
  • Have a flexible approach to working with a focus of delivering results.
  • Be reliable and have good time-keeping skills.
  • Enjoy working as a team and have the ability to work individually on tasks.
  • Be able to carry out physically challenging tasks.
  • Be able to follow strict industry health and safety and environmental standards.
  • A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential.
