The Vacancy
Hemel Hempstead, UK. Structural Soils, part of the RSK Group, has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Driller to join our team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced team focused on quality and health & safety. We work all over the UK, from inner-city to countryside locations.
Responsibilities
- Work outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
- Assist Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites across the UK
- Undertake general labouring duties such as erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivering consumables, hand-dug inspection pits and sample collection
- Manual handling and moving heavy items; training in the use of site equipment and plant
- Assist with tasks in the Warehouse
- Opportunities to work on all of our rig types
About You / Qualifications
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Flexible approach with a focus on delivering results
- Reliable with good time-keeping
- Team oriented with the ability to work independently on tasks
- Able to carry out physically challenging tasks
- Strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards
- CSCS Card is desirable but not essential
