Our client is a rapidly growing and highly respected specialist within the passive fire protection sector. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their established commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Estimator with experience in doorsets, passive fire, active fire or related construction products to play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive quotations and supporting project success from enquiry through to handover. You will work closely with sales, commercial, and operational teams, ensuring quotations are prepared accurately, on time, and in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed and accurate quotations for bespoke doorset packages, joinery products, and associated items.
- Review tender documentation and specifications, identifying any discrepancies, omissions, or opportunities for clarification.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and present recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support customers with project-specific enquiries and technical queries.
- Maintain effective document control and confidently navigate electronic filing systems and databases.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to maximise tender opportunities and conversion rates.
- Attend internal project handover meetings to ensure successful transition of secured projects to the delivery team.
- Participate in client meetings when required to discuss quotations, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure all quotations are returned within agreed timescales and aligned with customer deadlines.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUPs
- Formulas and functions
- Pivot Tables
- Data analysis and reporting
