We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong knowledge of the fire protection market to join a growing and well-established business. This is a national role focused on developing new business and growing a strong project pipeline within the fire protection sector.

The Role

  • Selling passive fire protection services, including fire stopping, fire door installation and maintenance
  • 100% focus on end-user clients
  • Targeting projects within the commercial, residential, education and leisure sectors
  • Working on projects such as schools, colleges, hotels, universities and office developments
  • Building and managing a project pipeline of approximately £2 million
  • Delivering turnover targets based on your level of experience
  • Managing business development activity on a national basis, ideally from a central UK location

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven business development experience within the fire protection sector (passive fire, fire doors, fire security or cladding)
  • A strong track record of selling directly to end users
  • Experience working on projects within the commercial and residential sectors (e.g. hotels, schools, large developments)
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A stable career history
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • A drivers license
  • Be open to working across the UK - this position can be remote or hybrid.
