Job Description: Facade Designer / Cladding Designer / SFS Designer We are looking for an experienced Facade Designer / Cladding Designer to join our growing team and play a key role in the design and delivery of high-quality building envelope and cladding projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with experience in cladding, facades, rainscreen, curtain walling or other building-envelope systems who is looking to develop their career within a successful and growing business. The Role You will be responsible for producing accurate and practical design solutions from concept through to manufacture and installation. Working closely with project managers, engineers, architects, clients and installation teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard. Your responsibilities will include: * Producing detailed 2D and 3D facade and cladding drawings. * Developing design solutions in accordance with architectural, structural and project requirements. * Producing fabrication, manufacturing and installation drawings where required. * Preparing layouts, elevations, sections, details and setting-out information. * Reviewing architectural and structural drawings and identifying design issues. * Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, suppliers and site teams. * Supporting the development of technical and construction details. * Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements. * Assisting with material take-offs and design information for procurement and manufacture. * Supporting projects from initial design through to completion. About You We are looking for someone who has experience in facade, cladding or SFS design. You may currently be working as a: * Facade Designer * Cladding Designer * Architectural Technologist * Building Envelope Designer * CAD Technician / Design Technician * Curtain Wall Designer * Rainscreen Designer * Technical Designer Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or other relevant CAD/BIM software would be advantageous. You should have good attention to detail, be technically minded and be comfortable working to deadlines while managing multiple projects. Most importantly, you will have a practical understanding of how facade and cladding systems are designed and constructed.
