We are currently recruiting for an experienced Architectural Metalwork Designer with strong Autodesk Advance Steel experience to join a busy and expanding team delivering high-quality architectural and structural steelwork projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer/detailer looking to work on varied and technically interesting projects from concept through to fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 3D models and 2D technical drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel
  • Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and material schedules
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create fabrication-ready models
  • Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams
  • Assist with resolving technical detailing and design queries throughout project delivery
  • Ensure drawings are produced to project specifications, programme requirements, and industry standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using Autodesk Advance Steel
  • Previous experience within architectural metalwork/steelwork/facades is essential
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and detailing processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on-site as required

Desirable Experience

  • Façade detailing/design experience
  • Structural steelwork experience
