We are currently recruiting for an experienced Architectural Metalwork Designer with strong Autodesk Advance Steel experience to join a busy and expanding team delivering high-quality architectural and structural steelwork projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer/detailer looking to work on varied and technically interesting projects from concept through to fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 3D models and 2D technical drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel
- Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and material schedules
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create fabrication-ready models
- Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams
- Assist with resolving technical detailing and design queries throughout project delivery
- Ensure drawings are produced to project specifications, programme requirements, and industry standards
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience using Autodesk Advance Steel
- Previous experience within architectural metalwork/steelwork/facades is essential
- Strong understanding of fabrication and detailing processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site as required

- Façade detailing/design experience
