- What you'll be doing
- Provide visible and effective leadership across the Day Case Ward and Outpatient Departments.
- Lead and manage the nursing workforce, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
- Maintain a visible clinical presence and provide expert clinical support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of outpatient services and the Day Case Ward.
- What weβre looking for
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration experience in acute care, Day Surgery, Ambulatory Care, or Perioperative Services.
- Previous experience in a Ward Sister, Senior Sister, or equivalent leadership role.
- Demonstrable leadership, supervision, and people management skills.
- Desirable: Leadership or management qualification, teaching and assessment or mentorship qualification.
