About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and innovative team, playing a key role in strengthening how the council uses performance and risk management to deliver its priorities and improve outcomes for our communities.
The purpose of the Performance and Risk Officer role is to strengthen performance and risk management across the council, ensuring frameworks are embedded to support effective decision‑making, manage risk, and support policy development that shapes the future of our services.

- Experience in dealing with people at a range of levels within an organisation.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand and interpret data and effectively develop solutions.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and services.
