We’re on the hunt for a creative, energetic Communications and Engagement Officer who’s ready to take the lead in how our Housing Service speaks, listens, and connects. What you will be doing:
- Design and deliver targeted communication campaigns that support housing priorities.
- Create engaging content including newsletters, digital content, publications and video.
- Translate complex housing information into clear and compelling messages.
- Maintain and develop housing webpages and support the shift towards digital services.
- Develop PR opportunities to showcase resident stories, services and successes.
- Support engagement activities including consultations, events and open days.
- Use insight and data to evaluate and improve communications.
- Work collaboratively with Housing teams and corporate communications colleagues.
About you:
- You will have experience in a communications, marketing or media role and be passionate about creating high-quality content that makes a difference.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Experience delivering communications through digital, print and social media.
- Ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative and proactive with attention to detail.
