JOB SUMMARY

Stroud District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Housekeeping Assistant to work as part of a small team in our Independent Living sites across the Stroud District. The role is essentially to ensure all customer bookings are managed efficiently and in a timely manner, preparing Visitors Rooms, handing out keys, and post cleaning. You will also meet all new tenants who have recently moved into Independent Living, introducing them to the communal facilities such as shared spaces, shared recycling areas, etc.

About you

The successful candidate will have relevant experience to work within our Independent Living sites with excellent time management and organisational skills in relation to managing your own workload. You will be a self-starter with a willingness to assist the Independent Living team where appropriate.

About Us

Stroud District Council’s vision is leading a community that is making Stroud District a better place to live, work and visit for everyone.

In exchange for your expertise, experience and enthusiasm, we provide a range of staff benefits. For an informal discussion, please contact Lynne Mansell, Independent Living Manager, on 01453 754173.

It is important that our staff reflect the diversity of our community, and we therefore welcome and encourage applications from people of all genders and sexual orientation, those from Black, Asian and other minority ethnic backgrounds, and people with disabilities.
