Stroud District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Site Officer to work in our Independent Living sites across the Stroud District. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the site managing the communal areas which includes Health & Safety, Compliance, cleaning, light grounds/gardening duties ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times. We operate Independent Living Community HUBS which need to be kept to a high standard for internal and external functions and activities.

The successful candidate must have a ‘can do’ attitude along with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be a self-starter with a willingness to recognise and report maintenance and repairs whilst communicating with contractors, partner agencies and visitors to our Independent Living sites. You will have sufficient levels of fitness to carry out duties required such as cleaning, grounds maintenance and light repairs. Full training will be provided to carry out Site Officer duties such as PAT testing, Health & Safety training and anything else relevant to the role.

A full driving licence is required, as this role requires travelling to various locations.
