Stroud District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Site Officer to work in our Independent Living sites across the Stroud District. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the site managing the communal areas which includes cleaning, light grounds/gardening duties ensuring a clean and safe environment.
We operate Independent Living Community HUBS which need to be kept to a high standard for internal and external functions and activities.
About you
The successful candidate will have relevant experience to work within our Independent Living sites with excellent time management and organisational skills in relation to managing your own workload. You will be a self-starter with a willingness to investigate site issues and identify areas for improvement with the ability to communicate with contractors, partner agencies and visitors to our Independent Living sites. You will have sufficient levels of fitness to carry out duties required such as cleaning, grounds maintenance and light repairs. Willingness to undertake any training relating to Site Officer duties such as PAT testing, Health & Safety training and anything else relevant to the role.
