We are looking for a responsible and enthusiastic person to support the council’s pest control service this summer treating wasps nests. Whilst we will prioritise applications from experienced and/or qualified applicants, we will consider applicants without prior experience or qualifications as we can provide full training.

The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the Senior Pest Control Officer and the Commercial Services Manager to assist with the treatment of wasps across the district. You will need to support the workload of the Pest Control Section ensuring uniformity of standards, proper use of insecticides in domestic and commercial properties in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations, product labels and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. A van and all necessary equipment is provided. A full driving licence is essential.
