Description: About Active Lifestyles Stroud Active Lifestyles Stroud is a busy leisure facility situated in the heart of Stratford Park. We are looking to recruit a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Cleaning Officer to join our team. Job summaryIf you take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you.This role plays an important part in ensuring our customers enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment whenever they visit the centre. Working closely with the wider team, you will help maintain excellent standards of presentation throughout the facility and contribute to a positive customer experience.The post is for 20 hours per week. The centre is open 7 days a week from 6.00am – 10.00pm. Applicants must be prepared to work a set working pattern that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and flexibility to cover colleagues during periods of annual leave or absence.Key Responsibilities• Completing cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedules and housekeeping standards• Ensuring all areas of the centre are clean, safe, and well presented for customers• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to support customer satisfaction• Reporting maintenance issues, faults, and health and safety concerns in line with procedures• Monitoring and reporting cleaning stock levels to management• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are stored securely and safely at all times• Maintaining the cleaning store in a clean, organised, and tidy condition• Supporting the centre's recycling, waste reduction, and environmental initiatives• Following all normal operating procedures, emergency procedures, and health and safety guidelines• Responding positively to customer enquiries and assisting visitors where appropriate• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the day-to-day operation of the centre• Undertaking relevant training and development to support performance in the role.Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.Ongoing DevelopmentWe are committed to investing in your ongoing training and development and will provide opportunities to build your skills and gain experience across the centre.For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Helen Bailey on .INTERVIEW DATE: Tuesday 6th OctoberBenefitsSupportive team environmentCommitment to work-life balance, including flexi-timeGenerous annual leave allowanceIn exchange for your expertise, experience and enthusiasm we provide a range of staff benefits.
