Stroud District Council manages over 5,000 homes across the district. Our management systems are at the heart of everything we do, providing the essential information that enables us to deliver high-quality services. You’ll collaborate with a range of teams and systems to ensure all responsive repairs are accurately recorded and effectively managed.
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds. While experience in a similar role, construction, or data analysis would be beneficial, we are equally interested in people with strong administrative skills who are eager to learn and develop.
You may bring experience in areas such as:
- Working with information systems and databases (knowledge of NEC and Keystone is an advantage but not essential)
- Using Microsoft Access and Excel effectively
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Communicating clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally
Experience within a local authority or social housing environment is helpful but not required—we value transferable skills and a willingness to grow.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you’re excited about the role but don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you.
