Housing Services owns and manages over **** homes across Stroud District, and our Asset Management systems form the foundation upon which the rest of the business is built and forms an essential strand of the fabric of business-critical information.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, who is organised and has an attention for detail, is adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will be providing support to the Property Care team along with the wider functions within Assets and Investment.
You will ideally have experience of providing a similar role and have a background in construction, accountancy, data analysis, and have strong administration skills. You will also have experience in:
- Information systems and databases and excellent skills and experience using Microsoft Access and Excel
- Assist in the management of commercial and supply chain contracts
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Produce and process budgetary information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience of working within a local authority and a social housing or construction background. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential, and you'll need to demonstrate a real passion to provide excellent customer service.
