As part of a small development team within our ICT service, you will be developing digital solutions using our low code Digital Platform (Liberty Create) to improve the delivery of council services across the whole organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and support digital solutions including on-line web forms, robot process automation (RPA), system integration and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to meet the needs of the council and its customers.
  • Ensure all solutions are delivered according to prevailing standards and policies including those relating to cyber security.
  • Ensure delivery of digital projects is aligned with the pre-defined processes.
  • Represent IT on projects and identify how our digital systems can assist with service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs with grades A-C in English and Maths.
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 in a relevant ICT discipline or ability to demonstrate relevant work experience.

Experience:

  • Practical experience of operating in software development or digital service delivery.

This role is based at Ebley Mill (Council HQ) and is approved for hybrid/flexible working.
