StrongGuard Security UK is seeking a professional and reliable Relief Patrol & Response Officer based in Liverpool to provide flexible operational support across our client portfolio. The successful candidate will provide operational support across the North West region, including Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Widnes, Wigan, Manchester and Chester.

This is a zero‑hours relief position providing cover for annual leave, sickness absence, emergency requirements and additional operational demand. Applicants should be flexible and available to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays as required.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct mobile security patrols of customer premises.
  • Respond to alarm activations and emergency call-outs.
  • Carry out key holding duties in accordance with company procedures.
  • Open and secure customer premises at agreed times.
  • Undertake welfare checks and site inspections.
  • Complete lock and unlock services for commercial and residential sites.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings accurately.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, emergency services and members of the public.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and electronic logs.
  • Conduct health and safety observations and report hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with site instructions, company policies and client requirements.
  • Represent StrongGuard Security UK professionally at all times.
  • Undertake training and professional development as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a security, patrol, response or key holding role.
  • Experience working independently and making decisions in a lone‑working environment.
  • Experience responding to incidents and dealing with challenging situations.
  • Experience completing reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • A valid SIA Security Officer or Door Supervisor Licence.
  • A valid First Aid certificate with a minimum of six months remaining until expiry is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexible and reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
  • Confident in dealing with challenging situations and conflict management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using digital systems.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing operational requirements.
